We are going to offer hard parts and custom fab out of our shop in northern Indiana.

What we have slated right now is a buildup of our car based on SCCA/NASA time trials type of rules. Weight reduction, mechanical grip, thermal management, and broadening the torque curve are our focuses. There are pitfalls to each of these from the factory that we see a need to be designed out.

Our plans are for down pipe and exhaust, an adapter for a larger turbo, a full compliment of fluids thermal management, flat belly pans, and a few cosmetic touches.

We have some products prototype'd out. We are evaluating the best direction to go for production.

We are setup very much as a fabrication shop. We have started offering a regular off the shelf product line for other vehicles, and intend to do the same for the Mustang. However we also are equipped to handle more custom work, full in house builds, etc.

As I understand it the question is, 'do we sell under our P&P Engineering brand name or do we do contract manufacturing for others?' Please correct me if I am wrong?

We do both. We have and are continuing to develop a P&P Engineering product line of off armor and accessories for Nissan trucks in off-road applications. Winch bumpers, tire carrier rear bumpers, rock sliders, solid axle swaps, exo-cages full and partial, skid plates, etc.

We do some custom applications for various industries that we don't necessarily 'brand' because it is in house equipment. For example this all stainless pass-through transfer isolater for a pharmaceutical company.

We also contract manufacturer items to the a pharma company and also some side by side aftermarket manufacturers who then brands and sell under their label or subcontracts us to provide a service.

I completely understand sub-contracting to make a finished product, not a whole lot of companies are able to make everything in house.
My basic question was- would you be selling the same/similar products your company car will have?
You are the only company I've heard of developing engine/transmission/differential coolers for the S550 (even though mine is a GT PP). Hopefully an air to fluid heat exchanger with a pump. I thought the only option was going to be OEM GT350 units when they became available, even though I'm sure they're going to be outrageously priced.

Ah, yes. Definitely will be producing the parts for public consumption that we develop. That was a large part of why we picked the Mustang for the next shop car. We liked the direction for was taking it and we also think its a strong market to be in.

The Xterra off road parts and rotary engine parts are both extremely niche markets.

Heres a set of stairs we made for a custom off-road trailer. Bottom step flips up and folds away for ground clearance while moving.

And on topic here, the strut tower brace with the really terrible paint job - at least it doesn't blend into all the black in the engine bay. We would like to make this compatible with supercharged 5.0L's too but we'll need someone to bring there's into the shop so we can do this.
