Washing your car.. dumb question but opinions wanted

To all my California folks (preferably Nor-Cal),

This is my first car and I am worried that I am not going to give it a good wash with my current living conditions.

I grew up in the country where you had tons more space and water to do anything you want with.

Now I don't live in any apartments, I sub let a house with a few other guys. Parking is very scarce. All of my friends live in complexes too.

Any thoughts?

+1 to coin car wash...I take mine there...a couple bucks in quarters gets me about 4 minutes which is plenty to soak/soap the car, rinse, and spray on wax. Just do not use the brush...those will scratch your paint up
