Ok, here is what I'm thinking. A friend of mine is giving me an older JL 300/4v2. I plan on running a LC2 off the rear deck channel into the LC2 and out of that into the front channel on 300/4, bridged for two channel out at 150rms x2 at 4ohm. My plan is to pick up a Rockford P2D4 10" and run each channel stright to each VC. One thing I was told was to make sure that the signal to the speaker was not a stereo signal, it must be mono... I plan on using the sub output from LC2 to achieve this.
Does this sound like I'm on the right track?
Thanks!

while it will work.. a 4 channel amp is not ideal for running subs.... you are better off getting a monoblock amp for the sub. but yes.. that amp will work.

I ran a setup like this in my old explorer about 10 years ago. What you should try to do if you're up to it, is use the front channels and amp your front speakers/tweeters, and then bridge the rear channels and power your sub. Set the fronts to high pass and the rears to low pass and you'll be golden.

If you don't want to do that, then yes you can bridge the front and rear to power the sub but I'd honestly just sell that amp since JL is worth a pretty penny, and buy a monoblock.
