Don't know how true this is but when I picked up my car yesterday, the people at the dealership were saying that the RHD production in Flat Rock has stopped production for a month? Hope it is not true though.

Not a month though – just a week (although even that hurts).

That article says nothing about an additional month long shutdown of RHD production

I'd be dumbfounded as to why they would. Sure US demand has dropped off and with JIT manufacturing practices I can understand why they couldn't simply switch to RHD production but stopping RHD production for a month doesn't add up.
Sorry, the factory is just shut for a week.

My understanding is that they are capacity limited in the production of the RHD version due to the vehicle having a little over 100 unique components. I have read previously that supply of these components is limited based on the demand plans that they projected and in turn ordered from component suppliers. I've yet to read anywhere any plans of increasing production of RHD versions.

Yes mine was meant to be made last week but was delayed till this week, yesterday i saw it swap from in production to awaiting transit (happy dance) as shown in another post if i think the wait was painful before it is about to get a lot more painful now that my baby is alive.

Don't take my word for it. Just passing on what the dealership told me.
I knew about the one week but I was kinda shocked when they said a month.

If no other media is reporting about it, hopefully it was just a BAD rumour.

Some of the worst BS comes from dealerships, this is a case in point.
