Viper or Corvette

Is it just me or does the Viper not get enough love? I

In fact I don't get excited about a corvette Z06 but a Viper, that gets me excited especially the coupes... too good looking.

Just seems like an awesome car that can be had for a decent price these days.

I know the Corvette is more comfortable and sounds better, and probably cheaper to modify?

What would you chose and why?

What is your personal experience with the Viper?

Putting a 55 grand limit will exclude both current generations of Zo6 & Vipers. If I'm taking a second mortage. I'm going BIG!

For that money, I would find an early 2000s ACR. I would buy it over a new Vette if it was just a weekender.

do I have to buy it fully assembled? If not, I'm building a kick ass Factory Five Roadster for this budget.
