The filter is a 1" ID Airaid breather. Fit like a charm, and yes, the TS pipe is the same as stock.
Amazon and eBay have a bunch of them.
Mine is an Airaid 770-141.
I'm looking for a filter that is dry. I don't want to chance it with an oiled filter. Is the Airaid dry?

I replaced my stock plastic BPV with a turbosmart compact. Vacuum controlled.
Decided to go VTA, did the chairleg mod, then added a breather filter just for looks.
John, I am about to install the GFB DV+ BPV upgrade. Due to lack of space, I will have to take out the Boomba Racing Adapter and simply remove the recirculation hose and do the chairleg mod, like you guys did. Does this filter have any functionality, or is it used simply for the looks?

I have a second question. Does anyone know if there is any way to change the VTA sound after removing the recirc hose? I am looking for a whistling VTA sound. Is there some sort of an adaptor, something like a whistling trumpet that I could fit after I remove the recirc hose?

I don’t know, am I transforming myself into a ricer? :D
