V6 Muffler delete questions

Im new to this so bear with me. I know many other V6 owners that delete their factory mufflers and put on resonated tips, also they usually replace the factory resonator with an aftermarket x or h pipe. Is this an easier/cheaper option than saving up for like a actually aftermarket exhaust? Where could I find the stuff to do that? I have heard in person and on videos on how they sound and I personally like it a lot. Thanks

Hi I have removed V6 stock and replaced with V8 stock which you can get for little money ,it slightly improves sound but what I intend on doing is replace resonator with a $120 h- pipe from Cjpony.com to make it louder this is a cheap and easy way to improve sound
