I installed a UPR dual Valve catch can system soon after it became available.

Recently it came to my attention that the dual valve system was not complete in preventing oil vapor to enter the turbo. UPR now has a Billet Dual Breather Tank system available.

1) Does the dual breather system require the removal of the PCV connection?
2) Can my dual valve CC be replaced by the breather can without having to switch hoses?
3) If the answer is yes for question (2)...is the breather can available without having to buy the system hoses. I really don't want to have to change over hoses that only a few months old and the hassle of the dirty side reattachment.

They all collect oil from going through the intake system, but they have two different versions which I believe they have had since day one.

1. It doesn't, but I recommend taking the PCV out and gutting the spring out of it. There are check valves in the UPR system that act as your new PCV.

2. No, two different systems and two different connections.

3. See 2.

I'll be doing an install video this weekend of my recommended method. I also sell them on my site. I see you are in Minnesota as well.

This is the fix and the way to protect the clean side that dumps right before the Turbo inlet that we use on our car for flawless oil control.

Should you still gut your line with this new setup?
