Don't know if this has been asked but has anybody with a base model ever wanted to upgrade their Track App and have line lock and launch control?
Is or would this be possible?

For a second I was all wait, you have to get the performance pack to get that? You mean a non-GT by a base model though. Quick almost unrelated question then; is the ecoboost coming with it too or this this just a GT thing?

Shoot man, it's worth calling up the dealership to ask I guess. Maybe a tune from somewhere?

Launch control is only available on GT manual models.

However...many tunes can unlock this feature for your ecoboost.

I believe the Cobb access port unlocks those features.

The Cobb Accessport gives you launch control, burn-out mode, and flat-foot shifting.

Launch control is only available on GT manual models.
Is this assertion still true in 2019?

I have a EB+PP 6MT and can't get Launch Control to hold an RPM.
I'm in Race mode (helmet), traction control is ON, LC is toggled.
Shift to first, brake pressed firmly but not excessively.
Stomp on Gas and the RPMs go to the preset (3200 in my case) for a fraction of a second and then descends on it's own over the course of 1 second. At 1500'ish RPM the engine zooms back to 3200 and descends. Repeat. All the while the gas is planted to the floor.

I tried dumping the clutch and all I got was a sudden, ugly engine stop. Because there was no actual 'gas' behind the elevated RPMs.

You'd think that Ford would at least put a foot note in the universal manual that the feature was restricted to GTs.
Can anyone else corroborate or clue me in?
