I'm not sure what you've tried but there are lots of options. Both Here Drive+ and Waze are better
Google bought waze, I've used both and still prefer Google when it comes to purely directions.

Yea it will dim the music and you will hear the voice guidance from Google Maps. I dont need a screen, just he voice guidance is fine with me. Saves me 750 dollars
Is this true? With my (pre-MyFordTouch) SYNC, it'll only play the audio from the phone if you're streaming Bluetooth audio -- if you're listening to USB music or Sirius or whatever, no sound comes through.

I got my car last night from dealer :). With nav. What is the my ford touch link thingy? Is it just blue tooth or is it a app?

I have Ford's nav system but always end up using Google map on my phone. It's so much quicker and shows traffic info. I wish car manufacturers use Google map with same touch functionality. (pinch to zoom in and out)
