Update on Build and Price

Does look like it's advanced since last time we saw it, but definitely still missing stuff and inconsistencies. For instance, the picture showing the GT with leather (a Premium Only option) with the base model's center stack (last photo).

Also, I noticed that pic also has the same colored door trim that was in the 50th Appearance package. Is that photo a GT with both PP and 50th trim or is that just another anomaly?

Whatever you do, DON'T CLOSE THAT PAGE. LOL Hopefully you'll continue getting the updates as they make them...

The photos do lend additional credibility to the theory that the turned dash is specific to the PP.

After playing with this, I realized that there are some nuances with the PP and 50yr that were misleading, posting this pic to hopefully clear it up:

Adding 50yr to premium with PP deletes the toggle switches, but adds the door insert

Appears that there are some things that need to be updated, but it is better than it was just yesterday... updated to clear up the photo of the PP and 50yr...

And yes, that page is not going to be closed!!!

it appears to be showing the base center stack with all the 50yr packages, so maybe that is only valid for the door colors but not the dash then... would also make sense why it seems to drop the toggles.

Thanks again for taking the time to post these!

If you would be so kind as to keep an eye out for an update that shows a GT Premium with Recaros and the Red Line option (note that the Red Line MIGHT have a dependency on the Premier Accent Package). That is one of the only interior combos that has never been seen before.

for convertible yes, but that is EB Premium with leather and all the like vs. v6 base with cloth and rental style basics

You are welcome. Will let you know if it stops working or if it is updated (assume it will be over time). And just for the benefit of the whole audience, I im'ed the address and it does not work for others :( I was very surprised when I started playing with it today and suddenly could see prices plus some new images and options, thought it was running purely out of the cache!

Edit: I also noticed that in the paint view it shows "stripe delete" for all the colors, not sure if that is an indication....

Yeah, I work for the tech industry and I am confused too

I'm guessing that it has something to do with cookies. Since you never closed the browser since Build & Price first showed up, temporary cookies never got deleted in your browser and now you are able to access the same page.

I would not rely on these pics because I see basic music console even with premium package in many pictures. Premium is suppose to bring MFT with 8 inch screen.

This build & price is still beta and pictures are not yet corrected.

Hey Chris. Mind trying a GT build with Adaptive Cruise Control added? And see if it changes the exterior of the vehicle (primarily the lower grill)?

As was discussed above that seems to be related to the 50yr appearance package, that option shows the base stereo but the correct doors... some inconsistencies for sure

The Adaptive Cruise is listed as an Interior Option, and is after the Exterior. If I switch it and then go back, no change :( Would not take that as an indication that it is not related, I think from previous discussions we know that it is, but it is not reflected in the Build and Price.

Thinking about this, I think Ford is missing a major opportunity. This community would be a great Beta pool to find these things and make the site much more robust! :ford:
