Wow I didn't even know they would put a 7.5 on that seems really skinny, you should definitely swap those ASAP

I picked up a set of staggered GT PP wheels, tires and sensors for the price you seeking on this forum. Heavy wheels but really stick in the corners. Haven't dragged them yet.

Yeah. Stock base non-pp tires are the same as on the v6 base. They suck.

Okay... this scientific experiment is a success.

Bama Race Tune (93 Octane):
0-60 Best time: 5.0 seconds
0-60 Typical: 5.2 seconds
1/8 mile: 8.9 seconds @ 81mph

Unleashed Tune (93 Octane):
0-60 Best time: 4.8 seconds
0-60 Typical: 4.9/5.0 seconds. Will need more long term to confirm this is normal.
1/8 mile: 8.7 seconds @ 84mph

My hat is off to Torrie at Unleashed tuning. My God this car is a beast now.

Just want to reiterate though that Bama was still a big improvement over stock, and the american muscle guys like Alex here have been great ( he helped me with a lot of stuff ). If you prefer Bama, you can't go wrong with them either. I still intend to keep current with my Bama tunes for life thing when I do new mods. Who knows, next experiment might swing their way!

Oh good. This is why I recommended that tune. People with autos need good transmission tuning as well as engine calibration.

Very good times! Did you get any significant wheel spin? I wonder if those little wheels actually help since they probably weigh a lot less than the PP wheels

Holy mother of God, did I get wheel spin. Dude... I got wheel spin when it shifted from first to second, while moving! I've never had that happen before.

Whatever this tune did, it added so much f*cking torque I could barely control the car with the pedal to the floor. I need to fix this tire situation now -- before I do *any* other mods. In the meantime, I'm turning traction control back on so I don't sh*t myself while driving.

After driving around for a bit on this Unleashed tune, here are some further notes:

1. Typical 0-60 times are 5.0 seconds. However, I have duplicated the 4.8 second time twice, and got a few 4.9 second runs as well. Nothing lower than 4.8, though. So consider 5.0 as "normal" and 4.8 as your "hero" time with this tune.

2. Got the eighth mile time up an extra mph. 8.7@85mph. I really think I need better tires to improve on 0-60 and the 1/8 mile any further.

3. Daily-driver functionality is great. In drive, the transmission shifts as smoothly as stock, only the car is more powerful in drive than it was stock in sport. In sport, the transmission shifts VERY aggressively. It's enough to chirp the tires during the shift from first to second, sometimes. The whole car launches forward. I'd worry about wear on the transmission *IF* I were doing this sort of thing constantly, back-to-back. But I'm not, so I don't think it's a big deal.

All-in-all, I'm a very satisfied customer and highly recommend the Unleashed tune.
