Decided to give unleashed a try after running Bama tunes from day 1. My mindset was how much of a difference could there really be....and is it worth $150 to find out. I could tell a difference as soon as I loaded the tune...the car pulled so much harder it was kind of shocking to me that there was that much of a noticeable difference. Torrie hahad the baseline tune to me within minutes and had revisions after reviewing my logs just as fast. Couldn't be happier
It's the best 400 bucks I ever spent.

Ahh. So jealous. We are still waiting on an updated ECU Strategy for my car. I was out today trying to get some decent 60 times. Really hard where I live and work.

Torrie,
Thank you very much for the tune!! I'm loving it!
Regarding data log, I have a few questions. Is it OK if I just use the SCT device without laptop to data log, then import data using LiveLink? How long (far) should I drive while data logging?
Thanks,
Koji

Torrie,

Thanks a lot bro, I just installed my tune, it made such a huge difference! She pulls so hard now! I can't wait until I get some time tomorrow to play around with it some more! CAI and IC are next!!

That is unless you want to go with the iTSX and then you can transfer files through email from your IOS device to the dongle :

I hope to save some people the headache that I had today. This is not a reflection on Torrie but SCT.

So little advice to anyone that only has a Mac and wants to buy a tune that requires an SCT device.

I purchased a tune from Torrie and purchased the SCT iTSX tuner which is supposed to only require an Android or Apple mobile device to download and upload a custom tune. After receiving the tune today from Unleashed the app for iOS would not accept the tune file.

And I am now being told from SCT that, and I quote

"this device has not been updated in sometime so if u have a new IOS device it will not load a tune from the email. You would have to connect to a PC to load the tunes... we are updating the website and there are a lot of things going into play moving forward. "

I opted to purchase this over the cheaper version so I would not have to run a partition on my mac and spend the extra money on a windows OS. Now if I want to run this tune I will need to either purchase a cheap PC or run boot camp and purchase Windows 8. I run only Macs at home and work and the only PC I have access to at work IT has locked down from allowing any third party downloads. If I would have known this I would have gone with the cheaper device or another tuner that supports a Mac platform.

Sorry for the long post. But hopefully I will save someone else the headache and trouble.

Torrie has been great and patient with me through this process and has answered my questions and concerns and got me in touch with someone from SCT after being on hold for close to an hour today.

I had the same issue, I have not used a windows based computer since 2002. I had to figure out out how to use windows 8.1 on two friends computers since they both had different layouts. I'm pretty good with computers and I think windows 10 is coming out? The only windows I look at are out of my car and out of my house.

But the Tune is great and Torrie is great to work with!

What kills me is SCT's lack of support for the product. The app has a button to update the firmware for the device but throws up an error code when you try to search for updates. And talking to SCT they say there is a firmware update but it has to be connected to a PC to do it. And when I try to email the error code to SCT from the device I get an undeliverable email back. They apparently haven't updated the email on the app either.

This product has great potential but they are just not giving it the support it needs.

Torrie sent me an updated file today but I am not going to be near my car for another day or so. This one actually gave me a dialog window that seems to recognize the file so looks promising. I hope SCT gives him some financial compensation, his customer support is 1000x better then what I am getting from SCT.
