Am I the only one that felt like Conor would be outmatched?

MMA cage experience is one thing but if you compare their camps & training/ spars/partners, you clearly see who is the superior martial artist.

Conor Mcgregor:
"Touch Butt" training

Nate Diaz:
- More reach & substantial height difference
- Black Belt Gracie Jiu Jitsu
- Most submission victories in UFC history
- Superior Boxing, trained and sparred with decorated boxers such as Andre Ward
- Superior Kickboxing
- Spars with his brother Nick Diaz, should i say more?
- Competes is many Triathlons (recent, Xterra Triathlon - 3rd Place)
- Amongst the elite shit-talkers in the game, way before Conor Mcgregor. Mind games do not affect Nate Diaz

10 Day notice to take the fight agaisnt Conor Mcgregor with no training camp, and still won. Impressive.

I'm glad my friends lost money due to betting on Conor Mcgregor. Guess i'm not an "idiot" after-all.

I thought that it would last a little longer but wasn't surprised lol. Nate might have put him away faster if he had been training for the fight. I'm glad to see Conor get brought back to the real world. However, I would love to see a rematch, both put on a great fight. This was the first UFC fight that I ordered in a long time.

I was very happy to see Conor get a slice of humble pie. I told all of my friends leading up to this fight (even back when it was against Dos Anos) that Conor was going to be in for a reality check fighting someone bigger than him. One of the firs things he said after the fight, punches that drop smaller guys didn't drop Nate....you think! You would think that might have been one of the first things his coaches told him was that bigger guys can take your best shots alot better than smaller guys. Yeah Nate got bloodied up, but he still kept coming, standing right infront of Conor taking his best shots.

I will say Conor was very humble in defeat though. I have a feeling he will stay at 145 for a while now.

Also I was very glad to see Miesha Tate win. I have always liked her as a fighter and glad she won the belt.

Looks like they're rematching now guys. I say Diaz again. I don't understand this match. Frankie Edgar gets left out in the cold.

If they rematch l, I say Diaz too. This time he will actually have time to train prior to the fight.

Well, they came out with an interim title match. Edgar vs Aldo. Sort of a consolation prize I guess. Eh, I'll take it.

I heard a rumor the other day that GSP is coming back this year. I would love to see Conor step in the ring with GSP. Conor would never fight at 170 again.

I heard GSP was still with Biotest. Expect something big if he comes back.

I know and he will lose again. I would just like to see GSP return and destroy Conor.
I think Conor will win. His problem was that he gassed out, he was looking to KO him in the first round...they were all power punches. Diaz has a jaw and can take punishment, but he also took a beating.

Conor is not good at 170 and should not fight at that weight class again after this fight, but I don't see Diaz beating him again.

Conor needs to stick at 145. Rafael Dos Anjos is so explosive and packs a big punch, I think Conor loses at 155 as well.

Not sure Connor beats GSP. GSP has made many solid fighters look like clowns. Although, we don't know what GSP looks like now. Ring rust is a real think unless your name is Dominick Cruz.
