Tyres - recommendations

Was thinking that myself, why on earth would you need to go full power in 2nd gear on public roads in any condition let alone wet/ice

Because my middle name is Schumacher.

In all fairness I still enjoy my car wet or dry, when its cold and wet (not ice) I will still drive pretty hard and as the car can put the power down in 2nd in the wet on smooth roads, then I do.

In the M3 in the wet I just become a hooligan, drive it flat out and often sideways.

So its good to have tyres that allow me to put power down in both wet and dry, afterall it is wet so much in the UK.

Been to get new tyres for my Ecoboost convertible as P Zeros not great now weather is colder. Ordered Michelin Pilot Power Sports as recommended by the majority on here but will take a few days for them to get them in. First time I have replaced tyres when there is loads of tread left- hopefully dry & warm over the weekend so I can use them up a bit!

Power Sports? They give extra horsepower too? Or are they Camaro fitment only? ;)

Meant Pilot Super Sports -my mistake after a glass or two of red wine! They did say I could of have had Pilot Sport 4 now as well but went with what most people have recommended for now.

They had PS4 in stock sizes? If so cool, the PS4 is even better in the wet and cold than MPSS and more or less on par in the dry.
