So, I've bought a set of 20 inch RTR wheels and it's a right pain to get tyres with matching load index. The rears have to be 105 or more.

So far I've narrowed down to a set of Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 K127 275/35 ZR20 (102Y) XL 4PR SBL for front and Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 K127 295/35 ZR20 (105Y) XL 4PR SBL for the rear.

The wheels are 9.5 front and 10.5 rear. Don't want to go with 315 rear as the tyre will be a bit too wide for the wheel.

Any better ideas?

Why not MPS4S ?
Good question. Michelin stopped making 305 with 105 load rating. There is an option for the 295/35/20 with the correct 105 load rating. The damn facelift requires higher load rated rear tyres.

So the 2015 Mustang has a 101 tyre rating and the face lift is 105, which is a 100kg load difference but both cars weigh the same 🤷‍♂️

Hi, I have RTR tech 5 20 x 9.5 and 10.5. I have had fitted last week Yokohama 255 35 20 front and 295 35 20 rears. Tyre fit is spot on, had the wheels a few years with these sizes and are spot on. PS, i had Hankook before these and was well impressed, only went Yokos as i think they are hopefully oing to be better and got the set for ÂŁ700 all in from blackcicles.Yokohama Advan Sport V105 (Porsche (N0)) 295/35 R20 Y (105), Yokohama Advan Sport V105S 255/35 R20 Y (97), Reinforced Hope any of this may help.

Jon is your car lowered? Why did you go with 255 front and not 275?

Long story, i initially thought 275 was the way to go even though my previous Hankooks were 255, when i then ordered some yoko 275s they just looked silly wide for the front so i re ordered 255s. I know 255 to 275 are recommended but the 255 just look correct on the rim for me. Mine is lowered by 25mm all round.

god damn it! Now you confused the hell out of me too :D hahahha I've ordered 275 for front. I doubt you have a photo of 275 on your wheel :)

Update: my front wheels came with 255 tyres and they look stretched. It definitely needs a set of 275s. No longer confused.

275s will be fine , 255 is just my personal preference, not stretched in my opinion.

I am looking at Eibach that will lower 20mm. Don't want to go down a whole inch. Also, I'm slightly worried about the rear wheel hitting the panel. That thing is so wide!
