Takata airbag recall
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration today announced a major expansion of the Takata airbag recall, more than doubling the number of airbags already deemed potentially unsafe.
An additional 35 to 40 million driver- and passenger-side airbags are being added to a list of 28.8 million airbags currently under recall, Administrator Mark Rosekind told reporters today.
Death toll in the USA has now reached 10 people

Huge frozen food recall
On Tuesday evening, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced an outbreak of the deadly Listeria monocytogenes bacteria — and frozen vegetables and fruits are believed to be the cause.
More than 350 products like green beans, broccoli, peas and blueberries sold under 42 brands at grocers including Safeway, Costco and Trader Joe's in the U.S. and Canada have now been recalled.
20% of the people who come down with Listeria will die!
