Two Ball Rally 2020

This bills itself as “a banger rally that accepts all cars”. I was on the lookout for an interesting, sociable car run through Europe that didn’t cost the earth.

At £250 a car and four days or so (they run a couple of different rally routes over the summer) I thought this might fit the bill.

Judging from the videos they’re not massive affairs - perhaps 30 cars or so. I thought they might benefit from a Mustang or two!

Rather than leave this totally open ended -

I’m looking at the Beach Rally (alps and sea) as first choice. 23rd to 27th July. Would be great if that appealed to any of you.

As I won’t be taking the organisers up on their kind offer to scrap the car at the end (for the banger category) my return idea is to drive up from Barcelona (rally end) to Santander/Bilbao and get the ferry back to Portsmouth/Plymouth and save the hack back through France.

Second choice is the “Original” route exactly a month later.

And the UK only “lakes rally” through Cumbria running 18th to 20th September is also a contender, £99 to enter and would probably do that too if I enjoyed the first one.
