Turn list in NAV?

I have a 2016 with Sync3 and NAV.

My other car with NAV (2013 Cadillac ATS) has a displayable list of turns to your destination.

I'm going to be driving from Arizona to Ford HQ sometime in the next month and saved the destination in the Mustang NAV but can't find any list of the legs when I "start" for that destination.

I'm guessing you can't do this but hoping someone knows a way.

There are obviously many many routes. Google maps for example gives several options and lets you tailor those. So I'm guessing I'll need to strategically add waypoint cities to force the Ford NAV to go the route I want. But with no way to see the effect of the waypoints on the route to said waypoints, I don't see a way to verify ahead of time it will send me the right way, I mean without adding dozens of towns and cities as waypoints to take away any unwanted options for NAV to choose.

Select the Sync Supplement Printing 1. it's a PDF. I think your answer is on page 52. It says you have to "have "Always Use Preferred Route" disabled," to be able to demo the route. IDK what that means but in the section below that it also details steps to get a turn list and select segments to avoid.

Driving from AZ to Michigan I would wager there are quite a few segments on the turn list.

Page 53 describes how to add waypoints.

There is a version 2 PDF on this site also. IDK what the differences are you might want to use that one.

Interestingly, the manual is wrong about the turn list. It says the turns are accessible after the route is started but the option does not show up when the route is started. If you are starting at your home and therefore NOT on a road, the option apparently isn't available until you drive the few feet to the road.

Also, you can use the "Show Turn List" voice command to get the split screen with turns to display.
