Little advice, sport. Don't take what you read on the internet too seriously. One guy with a keyboard and a grudge can make a non issue seem huge.

I can back you up on this. I had an e92 m3 before my ecoboost... yes I know I'm in the gt forum lol... Well between the s85 (v10) and s65(v8) there were a few documented cases of rod and main bearing failures. Now the total of failures was at or below 1% of all vehicles manufactured. A few select key board warriors on M3post and the other bimmer forums blew the problem way out of proportion causing hysteria.... for a problem that affected <1%. That's why I now take anything I read on the internet with a grain of salt.
