I'm looking at picking up a used tuner. The guy who has it it going to see if he can get it unlocked. If that happens, where can I buy tunes from and how much do they typically cost? I've seen a lot of people call out Lund as one of the best.

Thanks guys.

Beekcake, that's $200 dollars per tune? I'm not challenging your price, I'm just adding if I bought a new tuner from let's say American muscle or Steeda for $399, you get free tunes for life.

If I buy a used tuner for $200, and then have to pay $200 per tune, I'm not saving anything. Just looking at it financially. The Lund tune may be far superior in quality. My DD might not know the difference. I'm not worried about my Qtr mile time, I am most interested in my 60mph to 80mph time for highway passing.

Does anyone track that category, 50-80mph... Or something like that?

With vendors offering tuner & tune package deals I'd go with the vendor every time.

I sold my SCT on eBay and went with team beefcake's Lund nGauge package.

you say this everyone says this but ive never seen a premise to this... if i trap a 11.813 @ 117.09 with a bama tune and another guy with my same mods and lund tune goes 11.840 @ 117.72 where is the premise?
