TSW says on their website that the Geneva in 20x9.5 and 20x10 will only fit the rear of the 2015+ Mustangs. However, I've seen numerous other wheel manufactures fit 20x10s on the front of our cars without any issues. In fact, even though TSW says that their Nurburgring wheel in 20x10 won't fit the front, CJ Pony Parts sells it in a set of 20x10s with 40mm offsets. They sell the TSW Sochi in a 20x10 squared set too.

Who's right and who's wrong here? Is it safe to assume that any 20x10 40et wheel will fit the front of the S550 if the tire isn't too wide? I'm looking at 275/35 tires for a 20x10 squared setup.

We have carefully selected and test fit the wheels that we sell in 20x10 square setups for the 2015. When we were test fitting wheels, we have found that some 20x10's even with a 40et will not work up front because of either the hub being to thin and the dust cap not being able to be installed or the design and/or concave of the spokes come in contact with the brake caliper. Typically, both of these issues can be sorted on just about any 20x9.5 or 20x10 wheel with either a 3mm or 5mm spacer up front. TSW may state that they don't fit, because that is not what they are designed for. It is just convenient that some designs will work up front.

Unfortunately this information may not directly help you out with your decision to purchase Geneva wheels, but it may give you a better idea as to what you may be looking at to make them or any other wheels work. If you have any questions about the wheels that we currently offer, I'm here to help.

Buy two wheels without tires and test mount them on the front. I test fit my TSW Bathurst wheels before I put tires on them. I have a ton of caliper clearance (more than I had stock) and no issues with the front dust caps (you can give the dust caps a love tap with a BFH to fix the clearance issue if need be normally). Mine are 20x10.5 ET 25 though so that makes a difference. I've heard the 20x10 ET40 Bathursts don't clear the dust caps and non PP calipers without a 5mm spacer but I cannot comment on that from personal experience.

Thanks for the info Dave, I appreciate it. I have a few months left til I'm finally ready to buy (trying to burn down the tread on my current tires the best I can!), so maybe by then someone on here will either have bought the Geneva wheels themselves or perhaps a retailer will have test fit them to see if a 20x10 works on the front.

I really don't want to do that unless I am POSITIVE that those are the wheels I want. If I buy two 20x10s and they don't fit the front, then I'm pretty much stuck with a staggered setup, which is a position I don't want to be in. I also really don't want to have to use spacers up front. The Geneva is a new release for 2016 anyway, so perhaps after some more time passes and more people buy them, better details about fitment for various cars will surface.

Sure, if you don't mind. Thanks. Considering that their data sheet for the Geneva says a 20x10 won't work on the front though makes me think that's what their "official" stance is on the subject. If your contact says it'll work, but only with a spacer, then I'll either drop down a size and go with 20x9 squared instead or pass on those wheels altogether and keep looking for something else.

Same x factor as the Bathurst brotha

20x10 ET 40 needs a small 5 mm spacer upfront thats all, simple solution to rock square

That doesn't surprise me. Same ET, same width, same manufacturer.
Well there are wheels that could be all that but a different X factor due to the design that doesnt allow it to fit the same as the other wheel.
