Anybody know if they would make this hood without the heat extractors?? Are the heat extractors absolutely necessary?

Euro-spec mustangs have no heat extractors on OEM hoods, so I'm sure they're not "absolutely necessary" for cooling or anything...

This hood would look much better without them! Did you email the company?

Didnt see an email contact on their website so i guess I will have to call them. Guess it all depends on their molds for the hood. It would look 1000x better without the extractors.

This is the exact reason I haven't ordered this hood yet. It's been on my want list since before I ordered the car almost two years ago. I just can't get past the S197 style heat extractors.

If you are going to replicate a Hellcat hood, REPLICATE THE HELLCAT HOOD!

I made be wrong here, but I think the heat/air extractors are necessary for the Mustang hoods. They allow the air that gets trapped in under the hood to escape. This reduces hood lift while driving.
