Tremec TR3160 swapped into a Boss 302

Fathose Fabs is building a Boss 302 with an Aluminator and it has a TR3160, probably the first one ever. So for you guys who don't like the T56 ratios and are meh about your MT82 maybe something's on the horizons for Coyotes.

Yeah, I don't watch random videos. Many have one useful bit of information burred in a couple of commercials and 20 minutes of crap.

I had my Tremec's mixed up and thought the GT350 tranny was a TR2060 instead of a 3160. But also confused that someone thought it was breaking news that a Mustang transmission fits in a Mustang. But wouldn't a T6060 be an easier option for a s197 (and why are we talking s197 upgrades in the S550 forum) ?

Are there a lot of dumb GT350 owners who want to downgrade their transmission? If only you could mix and match the T56XL ratios you could get a nice spread. But the short and long ratio options both have issues with spacing.

Coyotes aren't just in S197's btw. But you knew that already.

Yep. Nothing new here, that is the point. The Coyote and Voodoo are very closely related and can use the same transmissions.

I’ve seen a couple of them for sale in the classifieds over the last year. Wonder if Ben Calimer does anything with them.

These guys seem to be doing lots of incredible, high-end builds. I’m sure there are other shops out there doing awesome stuff like these guys but man, what a BA collection of projects they have.
