Hey guys who tow small trailers, got a question. I recently purchased a motorcycle trailer to tow my dirtbike with the stang. Ended up installing a curt hitch, was super easy to do. Trailer and bike wait together is about 500-550lbs, car tows it just fine.
Anyways i need to replace the tires on the trailer, its currently running a 4.8 tire on a 12 inch rim. The trailer still has a little bit of dip to connect to the car even with the flipped drop hitch i have installed. My question is can i go down to a 8 or 10 inch rim and run a Load range D tire? Something like this?

Ideally I'd like to get the trailer about 2 inches lower and it definately has the ground clearance to do it.
