We'll bring more information and details as more interest is shown. I would like to mention that the Pony challenge we plan on organizing would be time attack based rather than wheel-to-wheel racing to help minimize risk and potential problems Nick has mentioned.

That's a tad less fun :/. Why not just do it like speed ventures. Have HPDE 1-4? People just have to self asses. Personally, I have been on track 3 time and AutoX a bunch, so I would give myself a 2. 1 is for people who are not comfortable on track yet, 2 is for comfort but not good, 3 is for pretty experienced and very comfortable, and 4 is "ya brah, I track". Lol

Pony Challenge will be with Speed Ventures

Speed Ventures had a Pony Challenge, but no one signs up. So we made the initiative to ask Aaron to reopen it up if there are more people interested.

Hmm. I may have to get in on that. I have done button willow before, pretty fun track. Really want to hit willow springs tho!!!

What if you fall somewhere between a "1" and a "2"?
Also, I have to "study" the track ahead of time (online). I burned up some brain cells in my youth :headbonk:

Hey Guys!

We were just out at Spring Mountain for Shelby Bash last weekend. Next time we are going I can let you know.

One potential problem with having a Mustang only track day is a ton of people with different driving experience out on the track. This can cause traffic and could be dangerous.

It's not an insurmountable problem. A long time ago I had my 17 year old daughter out to Willow Springs in a Honda Civic SI, on a rainy day, during a Porsche meet. No one got hurt and all had a good time.
I've also done a bunch of Miata days out at Willow Springs and Button Willow. Again, with lots of folks with varied experiences.
Biggest problem is getting enough cars to make it affordable and cover the track rental fee.

The weekday aspect is the hardest. That being said, I can see 30 people being possible. And this covered the corse workers and emergency services and everything as well..?
