Ok shortly after I got my car I purchased some bigger Mustang wheels. They were off a 2016 model car. After changing the wheels I never got a TMPS error at all. I did notice that the system only read pressure in one wheel the others where just lines. After about a 30 minute drive all the pressure readings where up with no issue.

Well about a week later I decided to sell my factory wheels to a tire shop and loaded them in the car. It was at this point I got a TMPS error when starting the car and of course the yellow TMPS light. I went to discount tire and they tried to train the tires but could not get it to work. Anyone have any ideas? It has occurred to me as I type this that I never trained the wheel to the correct positions even though it read the pressure. I did however mount them as they were on the other Mustang. Any ideas?

Did you think that by loading the other set of wheels in the car that it read more than 4 TPMS and triggered the warning light? It's not necessary to "learn" TPMS on these cars as it will pick them up automatically.

Yes that is what it did it picked it up automatically. As you stated it triggered a warning when I had all four wheels back in the car and hasn't gone away since. I actually think if it could be reset, the warning light, it may just pick up the signals again.
