Whilst visiting my dealer today, thought I would stop by at my tuners and have a look at his twin turbo setup.
I was lucky enough to be there when they were data logging from the dyno.
One word.....IMPRESSED
Well two words actually HIGHLY IMPRESSED.

There are a few different Australian cars running the hellion kit. If money wasn't an object I would love to run one

Personally I am a fan of the belt. But this kit is getting good power and good times in the USA, thats why this shop decided to go with it.
They are aiming for 1000rwhp.....thats a lot ponies in the pony:lol:

They come out comparative with most blowers cost wise I think.
This kit works out somewhat more expensive than the majority of the blowers on the market. This shop may not even offer it as it could work out too $$$$$$.

There is definitely some ""padding"" added onto some of the packages that are available.

They come out comparative with most blowers cost wise I think.
Car mods Australia has the kit for 16K aud plus install, then you have to change your half shafts, drive shafts, wider tyres/rims, clutch

Intune in Sydney are very close to finishing their install of the Hellion. I've heard you won't get much change out of 30k though. Not to mention the stories and stigma attached to using Intune....

I never understand companies who do things like that. It's no longer the 70s and 80s where world wide companies are harder to reach.

It is Johns, and it will be closer to $22K. He considers that it wont be commercially viable. The R&D is the killer, but after this it might be too pricey for most. He is expecting 1000rwhp, so that's where the money is going

As for all the other stigma....... phuuuuuuurt!
I am one of his many customers whose car he supercharged and worked on. 13 years trouble free.....Trouble free because he set it up from day one. He has not had to try and fix someone else's balls up. When the car cant be fixed...he gets the blame

I was surprised that he went down the top TT route, as a lot of his work is s/c. He stated that he wanted the big numbers and at the moment this kit in the US was seeing the numbers

Which tuner mate ?
They have pricing out yet ?
As mentioned above Intune Motorsport.
It is pricey, and I do not think he will making it available because of that.
