Good Morning Everyone,

I am in the same boat as many of us are here. I am awaiting any change at all in the status of my car. Order Processing since the beginning of March. Having that said, this will be my fourteenth Mustang. I average about 700-900 miles (at best) a summer and the car is garaged and stored for the winter months. I am not going to track this car or race it or anything like that. This car will be mostly a weekend queen, a cruise to the beach and some shows, just a pleasure car. I am a bit concerned about the factory tires on the car, they appear to be manufactured for racing. Are there any alternative tires that anyone has experience with that would not affect the ride on the car or the performance? Or is this simply an adjustment period for new owners? I had a 2012 GT500 that I just sold with 7000 miles on the original tires and they were great for ride and performance. Just asking for some advice. Thanks!

sell the cup 2 and put pilot super sports on....

not a lot of choices in the 295/35/19 305/35/19 sizes....

the cup 2 will throw a lot of crap up as you drive! I already bought a set of take off cup 2's from another '19 owner for track use, guessing you'll be able to find someone local to buy yours!

Also, I put about 200 miles on the cup 2 on street before putting PSS's on, def way more street friendly after the switch.

Just be aware...that as I understand it...Michelin no longer makes Pilot Super Sports. Switched to Pilot 4S. And do not make in our factory sizing anymore. Do for front tires, not for the rear...which sucks. Which leads me to believe that when still buying Super Sport tires...they've been siting on a shelf somewhere for the last 2-3 years.
