Thud coming from left rear axle

I have had my 2015 Mustang GTPP for 20 months, which currently has 12k miles. I have noticed a clunk coming from the left rear axle upon acceleration when turning left from a stop. This generally occurs at stop signs or parking lots when accelerating from a complete stop, and it does not occur when turning the car right.
Has anybody ever had a similar issue with their car? I will be dropping my Mustang off later this week for a proper diagnosis, but it would be handy to have a better idea on the potential issue at hand before meeting with the mechanic.

It is the Torsen doing its thing...pop/thud/clunk when making a left turn is normal.
