If you enjoy doing the work yourself these can be great buys and fun projects. I bought this one from Copart a couple years ago with 8k miles and put it back together. It’s been an amazing car and yes it has a salvge title but to think it was only good for parts is a bit short sided. I wouldn’t shy away from that one, appears like an easy fix to me.

Here’s my experience buying and putting this 21 M1 HP back on the road. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/saving-mach-1-chassis-m1841.179629/

Looks to me like a fairly simple fix for someone who has the skills and equipment. You are required to hold a dealers license to bid in most circumstances.

Would make a great track car since the value is already diminished.

Copart is an auction site, so the price you're seeing is estimated retail value, for insurance purposes, not what anyone would pay.

If you have the knowledge, skills, tools, and garage then this might be a good project for you. If you're thinking about taking it to a body shop, you'll wind up spending more money than it's worth.

more than likely it's a "branded title" car and the value they have it at is way high. I would pass.

I bought my 2015 Mustang performance package premium GT with a lemon law title, and it had 24k miles on it. I paid 24 K for it. I would do it again any time. I never could find out why it was titled this way. But it could be as simple as the paint blistering on the hood.

For anyone interested the original owner reached out to me and said this car was perfect before the accident. No issues. And it was totaled due to the costs related to airbags. So this would make the perfect track car build if you can do the work yourself. I def can’t but hope it goes to a good home
