This is actually a pretty serious ring going around the south right now. The issue here is that it will force dealers to hire security, and probably Sheriff/Police, to sit on the lot. This cost will not be absorbed by the dealership owner, but by the customer.

Because it is nearly impossible to get eBay to investigate their sellers and nobody seems to know which law enforcement agency to call to try and get them to do it, these people are sitting in a nice gray area. This is an FBI matter, if I've ever seen one, and it is being handled at the municipal level, which means it'll never get stopped or slowed down.

Frankly I'm waiting for a dealership manager/owner to be at the right place/right time at night working on some paperwork and see this happen... and someone gets dead. And I bet, of course, that if the dealership manager stops the crime and a thief dies, the dealer manager will end up in jail because he wasn't "protecting himself" or some crap.

In this fucked up "Criminal lives matter" and "Guilty until Proven Innocent" culture we live in, they'd call for him to be hung no less xD
