Underseal you say... so that makes you the 6th I know of!!!!

yet, erm, Ford don't do it under warranty according to ford centrally lololololol

Sound like a really good dealership! realignment is warranty work, oil and filter is a nice touch :D!

(Don't worry, I've got family who audit certain Ford dealers, i'm fully aware that they cna put it under exceptional warranty claims codes but shhhhh.... ;) )

I'd say do it now! Before they realize they made a mistake

I've been going back and forth with them about those. Quoted me £96 and £101 for the ecoboost and GT grille respectively.

What's your facebook name? Can't seem to ind you on there Tom :p!

In short (Marcus is the ford guy, i'm well, Steve Mander... duh):

Not that there's anything that can really go wrong with the kit, but be careful, mountune might sell the hardware but it's by no means Ford UK warranty approved like their RS and ST products. I spoke with someone deep in Ford about it not long ago and there was no desire to approve any of the Mustang products by Mountune. So any warranty would be independent by whoever is supplying / installing the kit - not Ford UK. It's easy to assume Mountune = approved but only specific lines are.
Ford have their own products coming hence why they won't approve the Mountune options

Marcus Nye Grant Gallafent yeah not a problem. To be fair, if they give you a warranty (written!) then you're covered and nothing to worry about. They are supplying and fitting the parts, and they're a U.K. Business, all nice and safe. But it's their warranty and not Fords. Like with their Mountune tune for the Ecoboost, it's not warranty approved with Ford

Steve Mander Marcus, it's because Ford did their own performance warranty protected upgrades for the GT and EB in the USA (Search performance packs) hopefully they bring them to the UK and protect too :)

Dave Sargent Steve Mander I thought the Mountune warranty was a Ford one like on the Focus ST

Steve Mander I fucking wish. It's not warranty protected, the expectation was that it would be. Ford bailed.

Marcus Nye Steve Mander I want a power pack too! It will come, along with lots of other goodies, once Ford Europe red tape goes through. It's all annoyingly slow. Pierre is supportive of it all

Dave Sargent Steve Mander thanks Steve I guess its all to do with the Ford upgrade packs that will be covered by Ford warranty

Grant Gallafent Interesting read. So sometime soon, Ford "should" bring out their own stuff? Any estimated timescale?

Steve Mander Ford should yes Grant Gallafent, when, nobody knows, hopefully Marcus Nye can give us the answer ;)! I'll happily put myself down on preorder for a EB PP

Marcus Nye Yes ford should be, all under be Ford Performance banner or something similar. Ford EU and Ford US are like totally separate companies, their warranty systems don't cross over. It's being worked on. Also other nonsense tho, like Ford EU specifying that for them to be able to supply and cover the V8 supercharger kit, they would have to crash test it - not that it would make any difference to crumple zones or safety. Though it might increase the likelihood of testing those zones haha!

Steve Mander Supercharger? no issue. I'm more on about the power packs; the CAI and Tune usually, the GT's is a bit different - CAI, Intake manifold, throttle body. No supercharger. Rather see power packs first, Whipple has the best SC currently :)

Grant Gallafent Oh ok. Bit of a funny set up and even more frustrating for us, the customer. I've seen on American sites that 'ford performance' do tonnes of stuff. Hopefully that comes here, and soon!

Marcus Nye I'll ask the question again tomorrow as to where the PP is in the pipeline, now they're moving away from Mountune it might be closer.
If you're eagle eyed you'll spot the new kit for the RS is called the "Ford Performance" by Mountune kit. And it's all...See more

Steve Mander Marcus Nye Cheers for that, definatley ask again and get back to me, i've got a lot of people on the forums who want these.

As for the US grilles, that's good, I saw them on ford parts uk or something, and wondered if they were the US grilles. Gess they are by that (Also stripes i saw!)

So Marcus has confirmed precisely....what, exactly?
That they're testing them (so all but confirmed lol), and that Ford want them in the UK, and then alluded to the fact ford want to expand the ford performance range in the UK.

God always the skeptic you are aren't you.

*nevermind we are talking about Ford here.

That aside, why did Pierre not just come out and say that?

Besides, that supercharger crash testing sounds balls.

We didn't get a strut brace due to EU pedestrian safety regs yet somehow Ford need to crash test a supercharger that takes up the same, if not more, space than the strut brace. Sounds legit.
