Why the F it was never fitted as standard, we'll never know. Strut brace for RHD is available on that site too, a smidge under ÂŁ400.

So if it can be fitted why was it omitted?

Is someone able to please show me two photos of cars, one with and one without so I have a better idea?

All the US GTs without the ACC option have that lower grill. It's a proper continuation of the upper grill.

What's the betting they'd send you a Euro one if you ordered it! :) That's assuming they can get anything. So far they've failed to deliver a service kit which you would hope would be a stock item.

Tempting price though.....................;)

Gah! Good point.

If I ever have the balls to remove the front bumper, I should probably go all out and fit something from RTR.

Great, thanks
As you can see mate, the UK lower looks like something off a Daewoo, whilst the US one continues the fang theme and the honeycomb grille pattern.

Is it a bumper off job to fit that?
Yep.

Here it is, the post you've all been waiting the entire weekend for....THE GRILL IS NOW ON!! :D

So, first things first; make sure you have a socket capable of removing your front wheel nuts without the bar touching the wheel as the HRE's are hella deep at the front. One trip to Halfords later...

Second thing on the list, realise your jack no longer fits under the car as it's now lowered and although lifting the rear is ok, lifting the front is not. Also scrabble in shed for suitable lengths of wood to drive on to to gain enough clearance.

Third: realise that your jack is incapable of lifting said car up onto the stupidly high axle stands you have and therefore a new pair are required. Trip 2 to a motor factor for those.

Fourth; finally start work on the car!

It got scary at this point:

This was more work than it looks:

This lower grill....this lower grill can get to fuck!! :frusty: I must've spent 45 mins trying to get that bastard out. Those clips would just not let go!

Getting somewhere now :clap2:

Aaaaaaaand we're done!

Stupid amount of time and effort involved for something that adds no performance and that I can't even see when I'm in the car!

So if anyone requires any pointers or advice on the grill itself or the stupid amount of push-pins that need removing from the undertray & wheel wells, feel free to ask. :headbonk:

Big shout to CompO5.sl0w for this incredibly helpful thread http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47379 and Marvelous D S550 for confirmation of the wonders of Goop! :clap2:

US model is a more open grille left and right sides aren't blocked out, looks the same for the ecobeast one too.

Yes it's a bumper off job for both the grilles. (top and lower)
