yeah. imo there isn't much to be gained from building an engine except for durability. for the guy who's going to do a few pulls on a the weekend with 700rwhp there's no much sense in dropping dollars on building up these engines when they aren't running much boost. these aren't cast piston thrown together motors anymore, building a coyote should really be the last thing you want to do and only if you're road racing with boost or wanting like more hp than what the off the shelf boxed kit blowers provide.The record that I know of for a stock coyote is with a gen2 by AED in NorCal making 1300+ to the wheels. Of course this is a glory pull and not real life situation but it’s shows that the piston can take some serious cylinder pressure. I’m not sure strength is the issue
but that's just me and near 500 hp NA is plenty for my taste.
