I thought it might be a good idea to have one place where buyers and sellers of the 50th Anniversary grille can hook up. I'd also like to see people post the prices that people have actually paid to get a 50th grille, to give others some kind of idea of the true market value of this item (hint - it is definitely not 928 freaking dollars!!!). Here are some I pulled from ebay:

And here is the one I just bought; it was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I decided it was worth it - to me. Of course, now that I have spent the money, it will practically guarantee that they start selling for $79 tomorrow...

Bought one for 130, sold it for 550. Got lucky when a guy did the deletes and saw they were priced pretty good on eBay so I just resold it.

Thanks! Crazy thing is there's someone selling complete with grille bumpers already painted for $600, I originally listed it with a buy it now option at 299 and it just kept going up. For 550+ I'd buy the bumper, remove grille and either resell bumper or keep for down the road if I ever needed it. But not my money, well it is now!

Anyone out there find 50th anniversary grille - I'd buy it for $500 + shipping to Australia (approx $200)

Feel free to resell me someone else's bargain if you find one !

Just got mine installed today! :clap2:

I decided I didn't want to mess around with removing the bumper, so I stopped by Beaman Toyota Collision Center today at lunch to get a quote on installation. I've had work done there before, and have always been real happy with the results.

The quote comes to $50, so I asked when I could bring it in. He says "if you're not in a hurry, I'll get it done for you right now" :headbang:

He pulls it into the first bay, and I get to sit there and watch them work through the windows of the waiting room. 30 minutes later, I'm back on the road with my new grille!! Just another one of the many reasons they have been in business for decades. If you ever need a great body shop in Nashville, this is the place to go!

Man, don't you wish everything worked out like this? Made my day!

So the grills for the GT and Eco are the same as the V6? Why does t-Rex grill say only for GT?

LOL...geez....it must be a Monday....

I just spent the last five minutes of my life trying to decipher the acronym bmfa. What is SlowRed trying to communicate to the other member? Bringing Money For Alterations? Behold, Mustangs Freaking Awesome? Blindly Making False Accusations???

The interwebs and Urban Dictionary have a couple of things, but they don't really seem to apply to this situation. Maybe there is a clue in the other member's post............................................................................................................................
