hi guys. I'm in seattle and the salesman at Bowen Scarff let me test drive 2 S550 GT's today for about an hour on twisty back roads and motorways. one was a DIB AT with normal suspension and the other a RR MT PP. both were awesome. first impressions of the new mustang: easy car to drive. MT very nice, smooth, mechanical. car was very planted and composed even on wet roads. solid feel to it. not overwhelming power and needs to be pushed a bit. AT felt quicker but with MT I felt more connected to the car and much more in control. was a bit quiet so will be adding a cat back. didn't like the reccarros in the AT car. i'm small ( 80kg 5'10" ) and they felt almost too narrow and a bit too low even for me. PP suspension was firm enough for normal driving but not too jarring, just right. good visibility. didn't like the silver 2016 wheels, too bright. the black standard ones are nicer. the dealer was very knowledgeable , has a mustang, AT, which he drag races and uses as a DD. anyway can't wait now for mine.
awaiting my Black with black wheels 2016 GT fastback MT.
