Template for factory spoiler holes?

I ordered a CDC Outlaw rear spoiler. It can mount using the factory spoiler holes, but if the car was spoiler delete, the instructions are (paraphrased): lay it on the trunk where it looks good to you and drill there.

I don't want to find out later I was off to one side or angled, etc..

Can anyone point me to a template for drilling holes in the factory locations? I'm guessing other spoilers use the factory holes and might have templates for customers with spoiler delete.

Hey!

What I did to install my Foose/MMD on my PP convertible (so no factory holes):

Cut 4 long strips of paper, like 1" wide and and 12-ish or so long. Then I lightly taped those to the bottom of the spoiler, over the 4 mounting holes running front to back - punched holes through the paper at the mounting holes.

Then I positioned the spoiler like I wanted, so under the spoiler you've got the paper that's on the trunk top and from the back hanging down.

Once you get the spoiler positioned - everything carefully measured - tape down the strips front and back and then carefully remove the spoiler - what you should have is strips with holes showing the exact drill spot for where the spoiler mounting holes were.

I started with a very small pilot hole using a Dremel (easy to stabilize), then a bigger bit on a full sized drill.

I have some photos somewhere, I'll post them up.

That's a start but what I want is the exact place it was designed to go which is where the factory holes are. Even if I get it perfectly centered right to left, the trunk is compound curved and so is the underside of the spoiler. I want it where the designer wanted it front to back.

Never mind. The spoiler arrived and aligning it will not be a problem.

Since the spoiler wraps around the rear edge of the trunk, that takes care of the front to back alignment. And even the side to side is easy because the base of the spoiler is the exact width of the trunk.

Interestingly, the spoiler is white ABS. All the pictures I have seen of these unpainted were black.
