Every so often (not all the time) when I open my car doors my speakers make a humming sound for a second or two and then they're fine. And only when the car is off. I know it's something with the amp, I THINK it's remote power on. It's not a pop, deep hum. brrr sound :p

Anyone run into anything like this?

Yeah this seems to be a problem with the turn on wire feed. I either need to move it to the rear view camera power or antenna power. I got lazy and just ran it from fuse #23. I think what is causing the noise is when we open our doors the window goes down a little, and it's happening while the radio is still coming on.

Tried the reverse camera for a turn on, didn't fix the problem. Next is to try a delay of some sort. Need to find one longer than 2 seconds though. (tried a 2 second one, didn't work)

Tracked it down and got it fixed. Occasionally on startup the radio is briefly sending out too much power to the amp through the speakers, enough to actually get the amp's auto turn on feature to kick on. It only last a couple of seconds and goes back to normal (no idea why, and since it doesn't stay on you can't use it as a turn on source).

I used these to fix it. I hope I can find a better way to fix this, but for now this'll do.
