Glad to see Ford was able to fix this quickly. I am driving a subaru and they have been slow with the repair. Hoping to get it soon since I feel unsafe.

Quickly? I believe I first received a notice in July 2015 that there was an issue, but no parts available for the fix...

The notice was mailed July 2015 to let people know the recall was coming. They make no promise of parts. Only an acknowledgement of the issue and their promise to remedy it. Jump to earlier this year, Ford sent another letter stating the availability of the parts and an ETA. Parts for the available years finally arrived around June. I was installing these as early as mid June before I left Ford.

That's what I was thinking. If a year is quick, I can't imagine what slow would be. My uncle has been unable to sell his 14 GT CS for over a year because of these airbags. I thought Ford should've at least offered him a fair market value buy back option for it. It's their vehicle. But they wouldn't even do that when he was looking at 15 GT's.
