Sync3 stopped working

Started the car this morning--no startup sound and the screen was blank. Everything else was working. Stopped at the store, and the car sat for about 30 minutes. Started it again, and the screen came on normally. What would cause this?

I had issues this morning. Audio wouldn't read the flash drive I had plugged in and the GPS map never loaded in the twenty minute drive to work. I did see it downloaded an update last night which I'm guessing is the culprit. Just hoping everything boots up when I restart it tonight for the drive home.

sounds like a faulty apim that wont come out of sleep stage, ford can diagnose the cause

After that one time when it would't start up, the last few starts have been normal with full Sync 3. Hopefully, it was only a hiccup.
