I was under the impression that SYNC 3 was the only system that was going to be available in the GT350/R. This document dated June 2015 shows SYNC as standard and SYNC 3 as being "(incl. in Technology Package and Electronics Package)".

Sync 3 is the big touch screen and sync is the normal head unit in the base model and track pack cars.
