Sync 2 question

hello, I have a 2015 premium GT and previous owner swapped out the sync 2. I’m looking to get it back but what would I need?

We need to know what “swapped out the Sync 2” means to help. Did they swap an aftermarket unit? If so, what model? Swap in a microwave, coffee pot, vending machine?

Haha sorry they swapped in a kenwood radio unit and metra climate control unit

I’m fairly confident it’s this exact setup

Did he give you the ACM (the CD player), the APIM/Screen unit and the front bezel?
If not then you need exactly these three items. If not coming from a Mustang (well, the bezel will be from a Mustang obviously) you also need someome to program these things for you if you don't have an appropriate data cable and ForScan.

Nope, got nothing with it. That’s what I was thinking I needed but wanted to make sure. If im correct I can buy a device to use for scan correct?

Yes... just make sure it support HS and MS CAN bus messages. Btw... get a SYNC3 instead of a SYNC2. Much better system. As you need everything new just contact https://www.harnessbyhextall.com/

Definitely gonna try to get a sync 3. However if i can not, would I still need Forscan to use a sync 2 system from another mustang?

Kevin I have the APM, screen, and the CD player for $100 plus shipping. I bought these for just the APM from a guy off eBay and decided not to experiment with them. You will need to program the APM so I was told. I added Navi to my existing APM instead of messing with an extra. Just let me know.
