So since day one of having the car I've had a strong sulfur smell in the cabin of the s550 after WOT or hard acceleration. Is anyone else having this issue? The car currently has 10k on the odometer. Any input is appreciated

So I can assume that by going Catless the smell should go away? Thank you for your response

The sulfur smell after beating the car will not be there. However, the exhaust will stink like a 1950s truck with 200,000 miles on it. My 12 was catless for about a year, the smell getting in the windows when they were down on a nice day got old. Everyone is different though. If my 15 wasn't my daily I'd have long tubes without cats on it.

Nice thank you!! I already have some kooks o/r long tubes I just wasn't sure what was causing the sulfur smell lol. I'm hoping the exhaust fumes won't be too intense going Catless, I don't think it'll be too bad considering my foot will be in it the whole time lol

Yeah I was freaking out about it too, when it started getting around summer time here the smell started popping up when I gave her a little love. Thought there was something burning up.

I was about to make a new post to let folks know about a potential issue here. I have been having terrible exhaust fume smells in the cabin when the windows are down and running the car at WOT. Even at 80+ mph the cabin would fill with exhaust. Turns out that my driver side pressure, baffle that is in the body behind the rear bumper, had fallen out. There is a baffle on each side of the car that allows pressure to vent from the cabin. When the windows are down it would allow exhaust to come back into the cabin. Once I re-inserted mine the exhaust smells went away. Ford QC missed this one at the factory :/

If you get exhaust smells in the car, this is one potential cause.
