All comments accepted and appreciated, having a better performing car on the track may actually be safer and more enjoyable for a new enthusiast. All of your knowledge has been gained over years of experience and is helpful to others. Thank you for your comments.
That is extremely debatable. I think what a beginner really wants is a FORGIVING car, not a capable car. Example, NC Miata MX5 is forgiving or an S2000. The S2000 also happens to be both.

However with all that said, a front swaybar is a big help on autocross. Not so much on the track unless you really know how to flog it. Then a front sway bar really wakes up the front end. Bare in mind too about my first comment. The more and more you mod the GT350 suspension the more capable it does become but I've also noticed that it does also become less forgiving...mod at your own risk. I'll tell you right now that going full stiff up front on an adjustable sway bar with no track experience or very little of it is NOT NOT NOT a good idea...build up into it.

What I've learned is just go do it and if you need upgraded equipment, it will be painfully obvious.
Exactly. There's nothing wrong with getting a very capable car, just be aware that you're going to need some patience and practice.
