Why don't you get the stripes once you have taken delivery? You can get what you want and you can remove them if you don't like them. These are painted on the roof aren't they?

Yep. Thinking that as an option also. Always good to be able to remember them If the mood changes.

I have access to a vinyl cutter so will have a go at doing my own when I get the car. I like the rocker stripes, but none of the after market ones seem particularly 'tailored'. The rocker stripes on the US California special have a nice end shape to them and stop just short of the gaps between doors and quarter panels so you get a neat edge that won't start to come away where the metalwork ends.

I'll post results when done.

Pity we can't get the Cali Special look here. I'll be keen to see your pics
