Stripe question

Howdy all! I have a new to me 2018 GT and have a stripe question. Is there a way to tell if its factory? How do they decide which cars get stripes? I have grey ones and usually only see blue, black and red. I assume they are either ordered by the dealer or whomever bought car. Thanks!

You wouid be able to tell if it was factory applied or optioned by the original Buyer that way if you get a copy of the Window sticker.

I was under the impression that only Shelby's came factory striped. All others are either dealer installed or aftermarket. Is this not the case?

Stripes were not offered from the factory on the 2018's. 2019 brought in the goofy wide stripe with the smaller one on the left side offered by Ford. So yes, they are aftermarket. I wanted stripes on my 2018, and since Ford didn't offer them, I did them myself.
