Street Aero/ Possible Modifications to fit?

Not sure if anyone has done this before or knows but I just wanted to know if the 2018+ Street Aero Diffuser fits on a 2017? My buddy is willing to sell me his for cheap and I'm considering taking him up on it.

The location of the tabs in which the diffusers click into on the ‘17, is different from ‘18 models.

I forgot to mention but mines the base model and I'd be okay going Frankenstein on the bumper if it means making it fit... But to be honest the middle part is the only part I want, as for the sides I'm thinking of going with the MP Concepts rear diffuser/ winglets again going Frankenstein on it to make them fit lol
