Ford calls it a golden ticket, taking the name from the famous book/movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory , but it's not even how the "golden ticket" was distributed in the movie. It was pure random. Ford knew exactly where these allocations were going to go. Just give them the allocations and call it "ass tearing time"

Thats what I said a couple of days ago. A small dealer in a town of 5K to 10K people is NEVER going to be able to compete with a Galpin in L.A. So they know from the get go who is going to get the Magic Ticket. I find it frustrating but I get it. Thats life in the Big City. I liked to process for the widebody redeye hellcat oh so much better. It took me 11 months to get it but I got it exactly the way I ordered it. No surprises of any kind. Much more professional way to handle it and no frustrations either other than the long wait. But I didn't mind that.
