Stock Tires on V6

I see that everyone talking about governor speed limiter at 121mph on base V6 because tires is rated up to 130mph. So here is the question... What tires did your V6 came from the factory? My car arrived with Hankook Ventus S1 noble2 which is all-season ultra-high performance tire and its "W" rated up to 168mph. I did have limiter at 121mph before tune. Any input on this?

I had the Goodyear eagle all seasons on my v6 when I had it and my ecoboost when I got it. Both were tuned and went over the 121mph governor limit with no problems and no signs of anything bad happening. If your tires are rated above that speed you are good.

That is so weird... How come my car came with high rated tires? I didn't order any packages. Just plain V6 M/T.

I'm not sure different mustangs all around the U.S have different brand tires on them but either way you got a good set! Get a tune and enjoy it!

I got a 2015 Mustang V6 auto, with the 51A premium package which comes with 18" Foundry rims and Goodyear Eagle all season 245/50/18 93 W which are good to 168 mph also the package came with power driver seat, driving lamps and the GT rear spoiler.
